Well, a few questions for ya: What's your compression ratio at? What elevation are you living at, and what grade fuel are you running? I'm at only 500ft above sea level, and don't run anything with more than 28-30 degrees total advance. Hafta use the remium fuel too, otherwise I *still* get pinging under load. When timing any motor, you have to take all 3 of the items I've mentioned into consideration. In the end, it may just all be trial-an-error. Brian
