Since you have to renew motor mounts, you should be able to carefully raise the engine high enough to drop the pan down to where you can either work it out as-is, or to remove the oil pump and then work the whole assemblage out. Worst case you have to drop the exhaust crossover. While not a really difficult job, I know its a pain, and you have to use new coupling gaskets. Good luck, and I hope you find uninteresting viewing when you look at the pump and bearing shells!
