I,for one,recommend a rear axle swap in any regularly driven F.L.-era car,even with a stock engine. You will also get easier parts availability for the later rear drum assemblies,and service parking brakes that you will need if you're using a later transmission. Power steering: Columns from '60-64 Chryslers can be used.
