For playing with the Impala SS's,you'd need something like the 405 HP/442 LB.FT 402c.i.d. poly stroker built by Mopar Muscle (Oct. 2001 issue,pp. 16-21) PS: This poly still had 397 hp at 6000 rpm and 400 lb.ft. at 5200 rpm (both figures way past the HP/Torque peaks),so yes folks the poly can breathe well at high RPM's
