Let's forget the nostalgia fellas. The 57-58 Plym did have ring problems! The rest of the engine was fine. Why do I say that my dad sold 57-58 Plymouths. Many needed to be rerung after few miles. I remember seeing many of these beauties tore apart as nearly new cars. The term then was "soft rings". The 58 "b" 350's weren't all that wonderful either. Remember of course these problems were improved to become great engines
