Been There, Done That... I didn't break anything, though. I was walking around the back of my '59 Dodge one day while working on it in the auto shop of my local high school. The chrome fin trim had been removed... leaving only a jagged lip of metal protruding from the "stabilizer." As I rounded the corner, my shirt caught the fin, and I was pulled directly into the jagged edge. My shirt was torn... and I started bleeding profusely. No stitches required... but the pain was quite intense. It's really easy to invest a bunch of blood, sweat, and tears into these old machines... and I mean that in the most literal sense.
