Well, a 241 is a possibility since one popped up near me in Lincoln. Problem is, I can't seem to find much on it. The horsepower it supplies is almost double of the 230 flathead, so it would be good enough (not to mention looking tuff under the hood!!). Would a modern tranny bolt up to it? What about the original four-speed in my '53 M-37?? I don't think I'd want the Powerflight on the back of the 241. With the looooooow gears of the M-37 and only a two-speed tranny, I'd be topped out around... 18mph!!! The trucks were slow to begin with but a two speed wouldn't help me out much. So... stuff the 241 under the hood... with something connected to it. But what? Found one near me, now to find out a little more about the Babiest of Baby Hemis!! Thanks for all the help. Dana
