Because if you do, you could probably get your cable replicated by a marina workshop: you know, those inboard engines require custom length cables to be made up, and I'd imagine just about any small boatyard would be equipped to do this. Hey, it's worth a try! And if they can be made for (say) fifty bucks or less, then why not get some extras made and stick 'em on e-Bay? If you're successful then have 'em made up in China by convict labor and shipped over here with all that Walmart stuff (Bringing it home to the USA). Don't thank me, just send me ten grand when you've made your first million out of all those big spending Forward Lookers!
