So far no luck with a rubber grease. The Schucks (west coast parts chain) I stopped in at the guy told me to use a petroleum based cleaner!! Then NAPA in my local town didn't know of a rubber grease. So maybe I could use a silicon grease? Or what about a silicon-containing polymer sealant?
