Chuck, there really is no "one size fits all" when it comes to distibutor curves. Imagine it to be a bit like bolting on a new carb or converter straight out of the box. It will probably work but not be at the optimum. If you can find a proper distributor shop, they should be able to recurve your new dizzy to suit the engine. They take into account, compression ratio, cam etc to give you the best curve. I'm pretty sure that Hank or Daven have already said that if you modify a part (or whatever) from the factory settings, then all bets are off as to what will work best with it.
