I was going to swap trannys from a 58 plymouth and put in a 56 Imperial 2-dr. They are both 2-speed powerflites. To my surprise the extension housing on the 58 is longer than the one on my 56 Imperial. Can the output shaft and extension housing be swaped, or is there another way out of this mess. Any help would be great.
