Howdy all, I plan on adjusting the bands on my '58 3 speed torqueflite before I decide to swap it out with a fresh rebuilt one that I purchased. What is the best way to do this? I currently do not have reverse and am told a quarter turn on the band adjustment could kick it right in. I do have all 3 forward gears (as long as I remember to push the D in). Is there anything else worth trying? It would be nice to keep the rebuilt one for a spare. Thanks a ton. --Joey M
