Hi ALL, Just need some hints on a few things. Firstly has anybody had experience in rebuilding a powerflite transmission. I am mechanical minded but not a mechanic. Is it complicated as the book seems? 2.Is Removing the engine and transmission out of the car together a big deal? then is getting the to appart once removed a bigger deal? I wish to rebuild the engine when I do the transmission, otherwise I guess I could just pull out the tranny on its own. 3. The only reason for engine rebuild at this stage is sometimes it smokes ( blue ) so could be just the valve guides. and the transmission slips in reverse a bit and L to D slips a bit. Not real bad considering its age. Any comments would be appreciated thanks tim
