DAVE-----it is the outer nut---these are the original parts to this car---the car only has 35,000mi.---never crashed-no rot---all control arm and related parts near mint condition---i have a factory shop manual as reference---there are no missing parts---i am totally stumped---i hate the thought of tearing it back down and don't there would be anything gained by doing so---what are your thoughts---thanks---chuck lowe
