Finally someone who agrees with me, and makes sense to boot... Well said... I have only been arguing with people for the last 2 1/2 yrs...If there is going to be a made for TV remake of the infamous Christine story, I have said all along that there is no way that they'll spend enough money into it to make it worth the watch; without destroying cars in the process... With that said, you make a good point that the film makers/industry of today that have made car flicks, have time and time again used cars in their smash scenes. Dozens of them in fact!!!.. I agree that it is possible to do anything with today's technology... However, when you boil it right down, there is no arguing that the film makers of today would not spend the time/money on the computer generated imagery. They would instead, in a heart beat, take the low road and use cars wherever they could... If you look back in the archived discussions, you'll notice a posting coined DUMMY, DUMMY, DUMMY... It is for this exact reason that I got so bent out of shape back then, and still do today, when someone suggests that they wouldn't use cars to make a Christine remake... Show me the proof, is what I've always said..... Otherwise, can it...!!!
