Check your plugs. Maybe while the carb was acting up, the engine ingested a piece of carbon on the plug, or a plug fouled slightly. Make sure they are clean and have the clear to faint light tan haze on the insulators. Also that the gap is correct. Also you can check your ignition lead resistance to see if you have a bad lead (doubt that though, as you state it is very light miss).
