Chuck, that just makes my point. Who wants to put that much money into paint (and ALL THE PREP) if the rot is still there? It would be a huge waste of time and money. I agree that the painting, unless you have a lot of experience, is probably the phase that should be done by pro's. The new paints with cyoacrylates are VERY dangerous if you breath or get into mucous areas. But I also yearn to learn, so I want to try it. Besides, new tools and equipment would have to be purchased, so it would be a win all the way around. As I have always said, a job that doesn't result in new tools and equipment is not worth doing. But it makes it more expensive. Mike
