Just a question? what part of good old South Dakota did you drive your car around? I'm always glad to meet another fellow Forward Looker here in SD. As far as value...any car is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Personally I wouldn't spend $100 on a corvette but others would spend thousands. To each is own. I agree with the other post...don't give up if it's just minor things. Now if it is a basket case (which it doesn't sound like) you may reach a point where you end up losing money either way. If a mint condition car usually sells for exaplme at $15000 and you invest over $17000 to restore it you may have already lost money. But then again it depends on if you can do most of the work yourself or not. Labor is where you will pay through the nose. keep working and little by little you will get it done.
