A few questions I need to ask......... Is it just one or all that make noise?...... want type of shoes are you using, metalic, semi metalic, organic?,,, orgainc is what came stock on your car and I have found that they still work the best for most appications up into the 60s........... were the shoes matched to drums? this is often not done today as few shops have the spreader to match the shoes to drums and they just have to wear in till full contact is made to the drum, the more wear the drum has, the longer it takes, the more dust build up, ect............. Have you tried any of the stuff that they put on disc brakes to keep them from making noise?........... Does this seem to happen more if you have driving in the wet, then parked overnite and then the make noise?.......... I always use masking tape on the brake shoe surface when installing them to keep them clean, was this, or the like done?.............. Have any seal leaks, cyclinders, axles?
