Dennis, The adjustment you asked about would be on the cable at the transmission side(underneath) Chock the wheels,apply the e-brake. Then have one of your buddies hold in the "R" button. When you go beneath the car back out the lock nut and turn the wheel nut backabout ten turns. Then tighten the nut just enough that the wheel just touches the trans body. Note where the hole is lined up with the wheel nut opening. From that point count 5 hole openings and tighten the lock nut. This should be your adjustment. Make sure the starter cranks up in "N" position and check if your reverse lights will come on with the gear selector in Reverse. Also, check your fluid level at this point.(Get out fire up car to normal op. temp, level ground,trans in neutral)
