Since LA and A cranks are interchangeable, how different are LA and A heads? Why couldn't an A head be bolted on to an LA block? Is the problem pushrod placement, oil and waterways, stud placement, or "all the above"? I bet at least one of you guys has actually mated the two up and checked this situation out before!
