I have a 1959 model cast iron torqueflite from a DeSoto Fireflite 383 4bbl(i have the 383 as well;) ) what kind of power can these beasts handle before they decide to give up the ghost?...because i plan on building the 383 to make about 450 HP or so... I would hate to have this thing rebuilt(there IS a shop here who handles antique torqueflites) and have it grenade on me a month later because of the stresses from the added power. thanks. Jon
