As long as there's people that will pay this kinda money for "Original" stuff, when you can get BRAND NEW reproduction ones for $500.00.....
I don't stand a chance.... |

Location: Big pimpin' | Who said I was "Insulting" fellow Foward Looker's?? (Unless one of you are the ones bidding on those WAYYY OVER PRICED air cleaner's)....
Nobody that's got that kinda money to blow on air cleaner's would be considered my "Fellow" Foward Looker....
BTW: 1958Paul, You buy that car in your avatar like that? I had to buy mine in total need of everything...Did it all myself to save from paying somebody those big bucks....I just call it like I see it, that's all...If it offends you, then I feel for 'ya, I just can't reach you...
That's crazy money in anybody's eyes, otherwise it wouldn't be posted here as a thread.....
A wise man once told me something......"A fool and his money are soon parted"...........

Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | I couldn't agree more with you dukeboy!!! Finally a MAN that isn't afraid to speak up about these everaccellerating prices. How s2pid can people be ? (sorry if I am offending somebody by telling the truth).
I have brought up this topic about the terrible prices on "old junk" in most automobile foras I visit. Some agree and some don't of course. I guess those who seem to "live off" this kind of business are the ones not to agree. My reason for putting the "spotlight" on these terrible prices is that a lot of regular people no longer can afford this wonderful hobby. Simply because it seems that less and less people have this for a hobby, but do it for investments and business. Simple as that.
Nice '69 Charger by the way. I used to own one too. An R/T with the 440 Magnum, power sunroof and absolutely all the options you could get on a car like that. The only car I really regret selling. Bought it in Nashville TN in January of '77 for 500 bucks, drove it out to Tampa FL overnight and shipped it home. (as told elswhere on this site).
Einar in Norway.
