Location: bishop, ca | Ya know, looking at any surviving FWDLK convertible just makes me ANGRY, that the factory didn't build them better,
AND, that the cars were not better PRESERVED by their first two owners.
AT the time of their 3rd ownership, most of our cars' futures were, then, "determined" (either for prerservation, or ultimate
destruction).

Location: bishop, ca | The Mullinix was a WWII class (tin can) destroyer.
My ship was the Tolovana AO-64 (fleet oilers are named after [Alaskan, in her case] rivers ); reported in late July, 1972
right before it went thru REFTRA, and deployed to the South China Sea Theater of Operations, based in Subic Bay, R.P. for 10 months "cruise" .
The Tolo saw service in WWII, too.
Decomissioned around '76 .

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada | Hey Victor,
What did the city finally decide to do about the Williamsburg Bridge's cables? I read something during the late 1980s about how the original (1903) cables were corroding beyond repair. There was debate on how to re-cable the bridge as opposed to replacing it.
As far as I know, nobody has ever tried to re-cable a large suspension bridge. That would be a daunting task and magnificient achievement.
