For some reason this has been pretty quite; not a whole lot of talk about this. I just happen come across this on the HAMB site. I made a copy of the bill for the LTD (carrying Antique Tags/displaying 1971 TN) You might want to check with your contacts over in East TN to see what they know. The bill summary from the capital website sez no prohibation to other than Sat/Sun

Thank God!! Now what I have been doing for so long is at least legal. I was pretty much ok in my home County because the Sheriff has one on all of his daily drivers. He is also the guy at the cruise in last year that had the still in the back of the old ford truck.

I printed out the bill HB263 and it looks like it is still in the works and is not law as of 2-16-2019. I am confused, so I sent an email to the bill's originator to find out for sure. I have not heard back yet, but will post his reply when I get it. It did pass on first ruling. It sure would be nice to see our oldies on the road (legally) during the week.

We are lucky in MT, we can apply to use a year of manufacture plate. If the number is available, it can be permanently registered to the car. A "permanent" sticker is applied the the upper left corner of the rear plate, otherwise all stock appearing.

I received a reply from the bill's sponsor today 3-19-2019. Unfortunately he said the bill died in committee due to their inability to work out all the details. Sorry guys
