Location: Apeldoorn, Netherlands | You probably already know this and it might very well have been discussed here. Much to my surprise, when switching channels on TV while sleepless in The Netherlands last night, I suddenly saw the unearthing of Miss Belvedere. It was another Hot Rod show with Boyd Coddington and I missed half of it, since it was already half way. But I recorded the last half. It really came to my attention that Boyd’s sidekick wasn’t very appreciative about ‘that Chrysler’. He said it came out as it went in, ‘a piece of junk’. Not the nicest guy, I’d say… |

And here's the show. It's missing the start, since I just happen to stumble upon it while zapping channels.

Just because he was a jerk, an a$$hole, dumber than dog sxxt doesn't mean that the guys who worked for him didn't do some decent work. Look at who Charley went to work for after he bailed out..............

He may have done some "decent work" in the past, but than again, so did Hannibal Lecter. *heh* |

Location: bishop, ca | Thanks, Jim!
I hadn't previously seen this show.
Early on, FWDLK'ers Andrew Sharpe and co-driver Mark Sandwith are seen (he's the tall black-dressed Rockabilly-looking guy
and Mark is standing next to him.
They drove their tan 61 Newport from Frisco to Memphis, and back, before exporting the car to OZ, when they returned home,
there.
Kinda seen in the blue ball cap is non-member but MoPar Finatic Ron Mog, who drove his fully-loaded 56 NY'er 4-dr sedan
to T-Town from Aplle Valley, CA, and BARELY visible is yrs trly, behind Andrew, wearing my yellow Lion's Club
golf hat. Andrew/Mark Ron & I car-avaned together on the pilgrimage to Tulsa.
Also, an astute viewing of the Boydster's introduction will show that there was VERY-LITTLE applause for his being there.
Almost all the applause occurred in the front-lower seating section. I was pleasantly amazed to see that there was virtually
no applause coming from our upper stage-right seating area, or, anywhere else inside the large auditorium.
I think that Duh-wayne's sour-grapes comments about the car, and its condition, were based in a large part to his group's
full knowledge that their presence was not being welcomed, in Tulsa, by the Olde Car aficionados.
Boyd's comment about "preserving" the car, at the unveiling, was disingenuous, because he would have liked nothing
better than to have messed with the car, physically and mechanically.

I think he meant it. After he saw its condition, he probably wanted nothing to do with it! He was there for a little publicity, after all. Not to engage in a restoration, which isn't anything remotely resembling his business model. |

Location: Harrison, NY | My Friends did buisness with Boyd and Wayne and both were complete a$$hole's. Boyd also became in sight of Law Enforcement and IRS to the point he lost his TV Show, Shop and Property when he croked. I also heard his Trophy Wife Jo remarried some rich Friend/Customer of Boyd's before Boyd was Cold in the Ground!!!
When talking to Boyd he had the biggest attitude and thought who the hell he was... Just a real J$rk$ff!!!!!!

There are a lot of "Gost" builder's out there and these made up reality shows are all BS, then these guy's hide under their turned caps, behind their tatoos and black T-shirts w/a bad ass attitude it's mostly the same old song and dance, just use ready made parts, a chevy engine and tranny from your local dealer in a box, mustang II front end, cover everything w/billit alum , have a big sound system and tv in it,int covered w/leather or cheap grey tweed
Boyd's side kick needs a kick in the side! what a poser!
I love pissing off the Chevy guy's who realy had 1hp per cubic inch actualy more than that in the 56 300B 354 CI w/355HP optional engine. They say "Well it was only an optional engine it's not legit" Well the 283CI 283 HP was an optional engine as well. I like quite a few GM cars from the 50's Olds,Buick etc had some great automobiles, Chevy? Eh in my book, over rated in 55 & 57,I actualy like the 56 and 58 much better, I am a purest,I like some cars from all makes in that era.
Maybe Mrs. Belvy being rusted beyond restoration was a blessing? She could have ended up in Coddington and Wayne's hands sporting a GM drivetrain,9in Ford, skrewed up body mods that would make Exner roll over in his grave, rack/pinion front end and 60in stupid looking wheels w/rubber band tires. May she rust in peice in her grand MOPAR splender! FL forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location: bishop, ca | It's a slow news day, so did a search on Jo Coddington, because I hadn't heard that she may have re-married, after
the Boydster went away.
For anyone who still cares about Boyd/Jo, there's this:

Location: central Illinois | Boyd and Wayne were total asses on the show and didn't conceal it whatsoever. It's no wonder Charlie left, his talent was never appreciated by the boss or his sidekick.
On another note, there was a 57 or 58 Chrysler that was in the shop during filming of every episode. Looked like the bodywork was done and the car in primer. And it remained that way, getting shuffled around the shop. Anyone know what became of it? |

this is not one of them. why they ever picked this guy to come to the show means nothing more than pure laziness. They picked the" cod piece" cause he was a big name ..lots of publicity. And Cod wanted the attention. Bet Cod was , in his own mind, humiliated in front of his Chevy loving masses and Duh-wayne showed the ass that he was............................MO |

Yay. This guy is more than a little annoying. Multiple accounts, one post per account, typically a 54 Plymouth. He can't have that many different emails to set up his accounts. Can he? If not, using his email might be the way to find his accounts and kill them.
