Location: Florida | Not a huge turnout of Forwardlook cars, but it is a pretty good show.

Location: Florida | Y'all missed a good show (except you Mike!)
If you like 300 letter cars, for instance, there was a C-300, a 300-F convertible, a 300-G coupe (with a 5.7 new Hemi!!) a 300-K coupe and a 300-K convertible.
And along with Mike's Mike's '58 Fury - nice car btw - there was a customized 56 New Yorker more-door, another '58(?) Plymouth in lime green, and a few more I think. |

Location: Wake Forest, NC | Thanks for posting John nice photos that Powell is a rare bird. The AMX/Javelin whatever it is a bit over the top. The FL cars looked outstanding. |

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | Nice pictures - I kind of liked the 300G with the new Hemi - seem like he didn't modified too much to slip it in, so the car can easily be turned original again. |

Location: Florida | Thanks y'all. it was a great day and a terrific turnout - more vendors than I've seen in previous years -no bargains, though. I saw a pair of twin-strut mirrors that would be nice on my '57 Windsor Town & Country. One base was pitted, the other was nice overall, maybe a 8 out of 10 - eBay-priced at $175. I was hoping a flea-market price of $100 - but I'm still living in 2002.
I posted a few more in the General Discussion area, some duplicates, too -
http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=27965&...
The G was spotless! I didn't find the owner to ask how the 5.7 performed, but it was a first-class conversion and looked like it could be easily brought back to stock.
The Javelin AMX took a huge amount of work to get it the way it is. Not my cuppa, but the extended crossrams (he had pics of the cut & weld process to build 'em) were pretty neat.
I got to speak with the Powell owner. It was there because it has a flathead 6 Mopar engine. He said a comfortable cruising speed with the stock axle ratio is about 45 MPH.
Gil Cunningham from Tallahassee drove his blue on blue 300-F convertible there - he's had it over 30 years. When we were standing next to a new Viper that was being raffled off (with the MSRP on the window of $102,000) I was teasing him that he could trade his F for two and a half of that model Viper. Shortly afterwards, he won a class trophy - just a beautiful car.
