Very, very nice! Mint and Moss is a lovely combination. It appears to have the Red Ram 325. Something has gone on in the engine area because the valve covers are painted red. I think the cabin carpet has been replaced as well as the trunk mat. A bit of a puzzler is the Custom Royal glove box door. The Royals should have a bumpy aluminum cover, but no shield and lance. This is a splendid car and in wonderful original appearing condition with a few fix ups. Sweet indeed. This Royal has a few of the extra goodies too: clock, parking brake warning light, and two-tone steering wheel, to name a few.

I absolutely love this car. The colors are perfect, although I would have swapped them to the darker green being dominant. Anyone want to photoshop this to see what it would have looked like that way?

This car was sold by the son of the original owner just a couple of months ago on eBay. There must be another thread here somewhere about that first sale. I had saved the pictures at that time too.
I love the colour combo! It's a superb automobile!!

It seems to me that the Red Rams had a single exhaust system. This is a superb car in every way. It is too bad to see the car being flipped. I don't know why it makes any difference to me at all, but it always seems nice to see someone enjoy a car for a long time and sell it to someone else who enjoys it for a long time. Silly, I know.
I hope this one doesn't share the same fate as that '58 Plymouth Sport Suburban that they now have all dolled up with a cheap little boat and tear drop trailer. That seems like a shame. I appreciate the original eBay pictures. That is a proper setting for this car as opposed to the sterile show room floor.

Looking again at the original pictures and the new ones, it seems as though the car is now sitting higher than it was.. Am I seeing things or do you guys have the same impression? I personnaly like the looks of FL cars much better when they are really low and level.

Super nice colors, and I agree with sparky7, a set of www-tires have done a lot to the looks of the car.
I had also hide the cd-player, looks miss placed and destroyes the good looks of a perfect dashpanel.

The CD player is not there any more.. The pics I posted are older and not to be confused with the new pics at the beginning of this thread.

David, do you remember how much this sold for the first time on eBay?
Unfortunately, I don't. I'm pretty sure there was a thread here about it, though. The price mught be in there, and even the link to the original eBay auction. But I did a quick search using "58 Dodge" and "58 Royal" and it didn't bring it up.

I am surprised none of the clowns have popped in and said it ought to be painted red and white !
Correct whitewalls MAKE the car ..... ANY Forward Look car. They look like they fell into the hands of some white trash dirtball with those ugly-ass skinny stripe radials. Either correct whitewalls or go barebones blackwall. Sell the kids, pawn the dog .... whatever it takes ... get the right tires on !
