Location: Parts Unknown | A truly stunning car. My heart always goes to the market niche just below the Lincoln-Caddy-Imperial that are formal and classy, yet still look racy.
Nice, nice car !

D500Neil, do you happen to remember LaRue Plotts and his 56 St. Regis - he and his wife, from PA used to drive theirs to the National Meet from PA every year, and seems to me they always won the long distance award. Their car looked like this one, was all original from what I remember but obviously had a lot more miles than this one!

Location: Rolla, MO | I just found this video of my St. Regis on Youtube. It was taken at an all original show in St. Charles MO, this past summer.
A nice surprise to find someone admired the car enough to go through the trouble of putting it on Youtube. Notice that the
instructions for the push button drive are still in place. Also, the sticker in the corner of the windshield on the passenger side
is a 1957 tax sticker for Granite City, IL.

Location: bishop, ca | Ian, I remember LaRue Plotts very well, and how he would drive his Ny'er all over the country to attend the WPC Nats.
I DID recall his car, when I saw John's car.
Remember the guy who had the white 57 IMP 4-dr hardtop?
Good times...rather than hijack this thread (further), PM me and let me know how often 'the club' has revisited the Detroit
factories sine the late-ish 90's.
Them were GUD tymes...and the all-nite bull-sessions in the parking lot, that extended all-around that hotel.

"....nothing fancy..."...nothing FANCY?????
What he said !
WOW, just beee-yoo-ti-fulll. Obviously a car like that cannot survive without having a number of very careful, sympathetic owners. A credit to everyone involved. |
