Dieter, you may have to buy a copy of your car's IBM Build Card, from the Historical Society, with
the instructions for same appearing in this message board's Sticky messages, at its 'top'.

As far as the Dodges are concerned, Ive never been able to confirm what, or where, the "SG" or the "EW"
options are shown on the Broadcast Sheets or on the IBM card copies.

The IBM card copy on your 1956 CHRY might shed some light on these codes, and, the IBM card copy will provide
more information on how and when your car was actually built.

One or both of the '300' clubs can decypher a 1956 P/T plate, but, even-so, the IBM card copy will provide you
with additional valuable info on your car, than the P/T plate can confirm.

Thank you very much, Neil. I know I have to write to the Historical Departement. I got the address but it's still pending. I don't expect to find a broadcast sheet somewhere in the passenger room (e.g under the rear seat bench, under the front seat bench, or carpet) because there's a new interior in my car (except the ceiling).
Happy motoring!
Dieter
