But yeah, it's a turd allright. If you want to get rid of it just send it south and I'll pick it up at the German border...

Heck, I would endure re-runs of the Donnie and Marie (Osmond) show from the seventies, AND the Brady Bunch Musicals (both sheer torture!) to own a ride like that!!!! (That's in way better shape than Christine was to start with. ---------Zach |

Or, is it that your winters are cold, and long?

Location: Michigan | Time for us to all be jealous of Scandanavians. Their 'turd vehicles' are better than ours and now we have
evidence that their 'typical wives' are better looking too. I am glad the 'turd' isn't getting a nice new hemi.
That would just be intollerable. :P

Location: Michigan | WOW what a pic that is. An acre of clean sheet metal. You guys could part out cars and sell that metal in the states I bet. The only place we find them like that is in Arizona and Nevada.
It's a 4 door so you relegated that one to the back yard I see. Next years turd? |

I don't think it's a Turd. It's a cool car. According the first few pictures you posted I guess you succeeded /w polishing the chrom on some corners of the rear fender, front fender and exhaust channel. The result looks really like new or rechromed respectively.
The new engine looks wonderful. I wish it will run as good as it looks (;-).
Good luck and happy motoring!

Location: Jamaica Plain, MA | The decision to capitalize "turd," is probably a Scandinavian thing. I'm Norwegian, but I was never taught the language... Anyway, lovely car. I have one very much like it. 57 Firesweep coupe-- it's black now, but it was the same color as yours. I love that car!!!!! It was Tom Hoover's-- a fact that I wont let anyone ever forget. They are very uncommon, at least around here. Mine has a 325 with a 4bbl and a Powerflite, power steering and brakes. |

This is how my current restoration/fix up/whatever you call it is being done and from the looks of it, almost exactly the same things are needed
Hopefully not 5 years though
