Location: Florida | It's incredible that this car survived to this day intact.
I would have thought that, when this was worth far less, that the engine - or at least the manifolds - would have found their way to a 2-door hardtop or convertible that someone was building-up. |

Location: bishop, ca | This car is very similar to Larry Jett's former DART D500 4-dr sedan, which has the tan interior, and
which sold for $25K at the B-J, in 2007.

Just can´t remember where right now. |

2 metal pre-bent hoses go under the intake cross rams, they goto the waterpump and the other end goto the heater outlets on the firewall. |

Location: SLC, UT | Yea, that's the car! Just after the ad that showed those pics said sold, somebody in Canada was congratulating his friend on his purchase of a rare 61 Polara D500. I think it was ultimately sold the an auction somewhere but I just can't remember who. The auction details (if I'm not confusing other 61 Dodge D500's) said it was 1 of 2 4 dr's ordered with the D500 longrams. I'm sure Neil will correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks Neil! |

I believe you that's what the auction said - there was more than two made however - It's still a rare car for sure

Gotta dig out the books again, but I think there were 11 4dr Sedans (Polara) made with the D500 engine (2x4bbl 383)
There were a few hundred (still very rare) 4dr Sedans (Polara) made with the Polara D500 engine (1x4bbl 383)

so she lets him 'sleep' around.
