Interesting thing about this car is that the front seat is from a 1960 Phoenix, at least that is the upholstery pattern on it, in the optional all vinyl. The last two pictures here that he has on the auction site are supposedly from the Elvis Movie, Blue Hawaii, of the blue Phoenix convert that Elvis drove in the movie, and shows the correct 1961 Phoenix vinyl upholostery.

In the 50's, the size of the 3-speed trannie meant that you could not get power steering on a Dodge, but
power brakes were available.
Dunno if that situation carried over into the early 60's, but this car has manual steering in it.
The brake pedal is not severely worn, and the clutch pedal actually looks pretty good!
This is a MAN's car!

Location: bishop, ca | I'd sure like to know how that 1970 version of the 3-speed trannie is built up.
It's GOTTA be synchronized gearing, by 1970.....?
That's not a light weight car, either.
