Any one know of a good classic car junk yards in NM with Forward Look cars? I may be in Albuquerque in February for vacation and I'd love to find a cool yard to spend an afternoon in.

I stopped at a yard in Roswell, New Mexico earlier this year. They had a small assortment of forward look cars, but the manager there said the yard had just been purchased by a larger outfit, and they may be crushing soon. Hopefully they have kept the better cars, though. I can't seem to find the card I got there, and don't remember the actual business name, but I'm sure there aren't too many yards in Roswell.

Was it A-1 Auto Salvage and the owner Bob Jenkins?

That sounds familiar, Jon. I generally keep cards from these businesses, but I seem to have misplaced this one.

Jon, I just saw your post here. I'm in Albuquerque, with a 61 Newport. I haven't come across a good source of fl parts yet, mostly due to a lack of time, but if you're in the Nob Hill area of Abq on your visit, look me up.

Will do, but unfortunately it won't be this year, spending too much on the Imperial (but it should be on the road this summer for the first time since 1965).

Diamond auto is also in Roswell... South end of town. They had a nice selection of vehicles and parts but keep wierd hours and can be hard to get in touch with.
