| Wow...saw a green four door 57 Belvy tonight, on the road....what a rare treat.
It had not been restored, at least not recently, but the car appeared to be in good shape.
If this sounds like you, you were heading east on Brickhouse Road, away from Dunkirk, at about 7:45pm.
And how about chiming in - everyone near DC - so we can see who is here?
It's that time of year gents, ladies....let's see if we have enough FLs in the area to consider a gathering of some sort.
Thanks! |

| Saw a 58 Coronet at a show at Solomon's Island yesterday.
So that's two that I've seen in our region so far this year.
See the Car Spotting thread under General Discussion for photos. |

| If you're real quite and turn up the volume, you can hear the crickets in this region. |

| Holy cow! That makes two of us in the whole region!
G'day mate!
What you got? Attach a pic or point me to one/them.
Just brought my Belvedere home on July 20....there are some things I have to attend to.
Couldn't buy a concours vehicle, but I'm happy with what I have.
See thread under General Technical, "58 Belvy finally home...."
Cheers and thanks for chasing away the crickets. |

| So the green 4 dour belvy I mentioned at the start of this belongs to an older guy, not a kid like I thought.
This is per the guy with the Christine tattoo that I spent some time with tonight at the farmer's market cruise-in at North Beach.
See thread "Red and white maiden voyage!!!!" under Members' Rides for more info. Thanks!
BTW tonight was the first time I've taken Kate out - and what a joy it was. |

| Welcome back or welcome on board or whatever the case is.
So there's maybe 6 FLs within your radius of DC.
It ain't no big deal, especially since I'm the new guy and nobody likes my car (grin) but sometimes when we're out and about or doing a show I'd like to be able to send a heads-up just to see who else is avail. |

| Might as well be - hilarious.
Here are the details for Sunday's veterans car show in Glen Burnie:
Veterans will be honored at the Street Survivors of Maryland Car Club annual Veterans Appreciation Car Show, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot behind the HH Gregg store in the Centre at Glen Burnie shopping center, 6711 Ritchie Highway. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is open to all vehicles. The entry fee is $12. Dash plaques will be given to the first 300 vehicles registered and 125 prizes will be awarded. There also will be music, door prizes, raffles and a bake sale. For details, call 410-599-5578.
I'll take photos of any FLs, of course.

| There were a couple of Desotos at the show but that was all for FL. One of them needed a bunch of TLC and the other had some kind of funky emblem above the elbow in the trim on the rear fenders....can't wait for the experts here to decipher that one. Will post some pics under an appropriately titled thread in General Discussion. |
