Well, I'm in the middle of trying to buy a clock from miquelonbrad and now I can't reply to his PM's. My PM shows up in the outbox where it's been for a couple of days but doesn't show up in the Sent folder. So..... any suggestions? Maybe a PM from 90 other users might fill up his inbox

I have the same problem. Nothing shows in my out box. Help ! I always have trouble with stuff like this. I am 71 and not very good with computers. I really want to get a message to a member about a DeSoto he has for sale.
Thanks.
Dick

I seem to have a different problem - my response PM messages show up in my outbox and just sit there. I have tried to respond to a PM five times and all five are still in my outbox. What's the deal?

The function is different from a E-mail program. The PM will remain in your outbox until it's read by the receiver.
It means that you actually have sent the PM - but it's still not read.

That's the reason you'll see a post "PM sent" in some threads - just a headsup to check the inbox

In the Control panel (on the right on top of the page) there's a possibility to get normal email notifications when someone send you a PM.

This is the line and you should set it to "Yes"
Receive e-mail notifications when someone sends you a private message?

We should all have this boxed Yes.............

Wizard,

I took your advice and updated my profile to include email notification.

Thanks again and I hope many others see this thread and do likewise.
