Location: bishop, ca | This is an L.A.-built car, which shows the masking-tape edges across its middle, where a strip of tape was left lying
across it---that tape may have held a Broadcast Sheet to it, but 'always' that tape was there, leaving the P/T plate's
middle area having only the OEM primer on it (after the masking tape was eventually removed from across
the P/T plate).
The L.A. cars have very little information listed on their P/T's, compared to the Detroit-built cars.
You should definitely buy a copy of the factory's IBM Build card, because it will list all of the options and features that wer
installed on this car.
But, as far as what is confirmed on this P/T; its Scheduled Build date is hard to read, through the 'new' paint that was applied
to it.
What you can do is turn it over, and the underside, under its far-left side should have numbers, like "1025(Oct 25th)" stamped there.
MD3H and 354 confirm the Custom Royal 4-door hardtop.
EF4 is the Aqua Marine and Jade Irridescent, with the A.M. being on the roof/fins/lower, and with the Jade across the middle ("Saddle") area.
S76 means that there is green-motif swivel seats----Very pretty car!
There is Solex tinted glass in it, and many other options, but, among the ones that the P/T plate (bothers-to) confirm is that the
car has a Single-4bbl D500 engine.
Can you post up a pic of its engine stamping number (located on a flat area, at the base of the distributor)?
If anyone has an IBM card copy on a 59 Dodge, please PM me with its image; thanks!
