Years ago out in the Nevada desert, shot up old cars were a common sight, especially near old ghost towns. BLM had a cleanup campaign about fifteen years ago where most were removed, or pushed down into ravines, out of sight.

I remember my friend telling me how he found a early 70's Chevrolet sedan found obliterated from what looked to be a 1000 ft drop from above. Another friend found a mid 20's AA truck that rolled down a mountainside and was half buried. |

Location: Wichita, Kansas | I know this sounds completely insane, but I've always wanted to take an absolutely shot up car like that 56 Dodge (or the coral 58 Impala near the Meteor Crater in AZ - many photos of it online), put a good running gear in it, a blanket on the front seat springs, and drive it to and enter it in a car show. I would bet the ranch that it would be the most popular car there. I just think that would be a blast. |
