Location: tailFinland | Took some pics of my Yorker to day at front of my carage (where I have my 300 G project)
This is matching number car. I mean it was assembled July 13. in 1961. I bought it exactly 40 years later July 13. 2001. I was also born 13.th in 1961 but not in July.,
This baby got almost all accesories available but PW, wich I now have waiting.
She was first delivered to Idaho but got black California plates when arrived to Finland after mid 80´s.
Previous owner started restoration but was not able to finish it after 9 years of struggle.
I got it body rolling and most of the parts in puckets and boxes, lots of parts missing etc.
Took about 2 years to finish it.
Now 10 years later it has over 14.000 miles and little wear and tear. It used to win awards peoples choises when i took it to the shows but now I hav'nt done shows for a looong time.

Yeah, car show awards are passe, now....we just take care of our rides, and enjoy their operation; let their
next owner restore it; they're not going down in value, anyway, and life is SHORT!

Nope. Thats a portable, moveable, carry out or in rear speaker. As you know Chrysler did not design place for rear speaker on that era unlike some other auto manufacturers.
I fabricated it from my wifes red suitcase what she used when she was a child.
The other thing is my bag
and a sauna, yes it is in the picture, red hut on the background |

Location: tailFinland | It has toilet seat trunk lid option, wich I do not like much.
I also made removable trailer hitch for my SMV-wagon that I used have few years ago.

Simply gorgeous New Yorker, Adventurer 60!
May I also vote for leaving the "toilet seat" in place?
The "rear speaker suit case" is a brilliant idea!

Location: Parts Unknown | Ditch the toilet seat. I hear Ian is going to build a toilet seat museum and can hang it on his wall.
Sincerely though, ... it is a beautiful car. A 61 NY'er ragtop was one of my top picks for a FL car
before I decided on the DeSoto. Jeff Carter's black w/magenta interior example is breathtaking.

| Normally not a big fan of any '61s, but this one is first class, top shelf, a real beauty.
I'd drop the top and cruise around all day and into the night until the sun came up and do it all again.
Real nice car. |

Local artist made a music video to boost up his beginning career and they asked me and my NY to participate.
Here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBhQItraCh4
Perhaps it wont hit any charts, who knows. Song tells about drinking and fighting and still he do not know anything better. Typical finnish story
