Location: Minor Hill, TN | I am looking at these colors for my '61 fury when its ready to be painted. The original red and white colors, dark blue , white , lavender, yellow, green.and candy apple red.
I have not decide on the color but these are what I am looking at.
The interior is red and white |

Location: Arizona | With a red and white interior I'd be inclined to stick with either red or white, or red/white as the exterior. Just don't use "resale red" that has an orange tinge to it, go with a deeper red. I'd probably two tone it. |

Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | with a red/white interior and from that list , you aint got but 2 real choices . i agree with tempe but candy apple red over medium dark gold might make it pop but is extremely labor intensive---------------------later |

Location: central Illinois | If the interior was all red I'd say go with black... but that'd be like your old car. You can never go wrong with the original colors. |

Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | a compression test only gives part of the story . through the yrs. i've opened up maybe 20 , good running 318's . everyone had scored bearings . my last 2 , both were under 35,000 miles . both had scored
bearings . the one with the least miles was the worse . every bearing but one was scored -----------------------------------------------------------later |

Location: Minor Hill, TN | My dad want to do this because he says it does not run as good as my other '61 did. That too had a 318 under its hood. When I st got that 1 I started to use the high test (93 octane fuel) My dad also put a 4bl carb on it , converted to electronic ignition and set the timing were he wanted it.
When my dad 1st drive my other '61 back from the storage were I kept the car after the 1st fire he said the engine in that car ran so smooth. That was when I told him I started running premium unleaded in that car after the 1st day of the filming of the movie Hell and Mr Fudge.
I also have a tank of high test in my current '61 plymouth were I go there is no ethanol in that gas |

Location: Minor Hill, TN | I decided to go with black to pay tribute to the 1 I lost in the fire. My dad has some black paint left from the other car that will be enough to do inside the doors , trunk and hood . I need 1 more gallon for the body. I even got a bumper bar that will be installed after the restoration. |
