| I have a brake power booster unit for a dodge 56-64 but no idea how to install or use it, have searched the internet no luck. Its NOS and is manufactured by a company called Kellsey-Hayes. Any help would be appreciated. |

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Read your factory Maintenance Manual. Look at the pictures. Get all the power brake parts that go with your unit at Big 'M' or some other salvage yard. That plate behind your Master cylinder, I think is different, push rod possibly too. Did you get the vacuum tank? Marc.

Location: Perth Australia | You need the pedal assembly as well
There really wasnt anything that crossed from manual to the power brakes, its all different
Sometimes mopar did that to you
After the master cyl, everything should be good

Location: Connecticut | If you're converting a manual brake car to power brakes, you will need the pipe that connects to the vacuum port on the intake manifold. As Mick says, you will also need a power brake pedal assembly. One thing that the OCW article fails to mention is the curved 'finger' on the pedal rod that activates the power assist. If this was bent out of alignment during the removal of the power brake assembly, the power assist will be triggered either too soon or too late. The FSM has a measuring tool that can be copied onto clear acetate and used to measure alignment of the finger. Ron |

That year span is questionable, many different style boosters over those years. Got a pic? |

Converting to power brakes is fairly easy. The hardest part (IMHO) is replacing the brake pedal assembly. Look at a parts book and the service manual and ask questions here. Ron |
