Location: Hayward, Calif | I was digging thru a pile of (mostly junk) at back of carport and found the 4 spd I thought I lost yrs ago, and found another one also. Both complete with bell hsg, flywheel, clutch & press plate. 1st, trans #'s raised on right side is 85639 (possible 95639) & #'s on tailshaft housing is C-95658-G. The yoke is attached with a nut. All of the linkage and the gearshift lever is there also. Has nylon speedo gear and attaching speedo cable. Seems to me I used this trans with a 361 in a Dodge P/U yrs ago. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,2nd, 4 speed #'s are C-97372 and tailshaft hsg #'s C- 96706-K. This trans uses a slip yoke, missing. And no linkage. Both still have T/O brg still on imput shaft. Both flywheels use 6 mounting holes, offset spacing. One clutch is 9 1/4 OD and the other is 10 1/2 OD. Both multi spline. ,,,,,,One bell hsg #'s inside are 2468372. I think this is from a 67 Cuda with a 273. ,,,,,,,,,,other bell hsg, #'s are on outside where trans bolts to it. # 286__, last 2 #'s rubbed off so couldn't read them. I think this bell was used with the 361. Anyway, any chance someone could figure out what I have here. Junk or ??????? Thanks Jerry

Location: Hayward, Calif | Hey Chuck, Are these 4 spd's the trans I see guys talking about. They were in running condition when they were taken out of service. Would anyone have a use for them. Maybe I can make a trade with John at Big M.

Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | 833's are always in demand but most of which is on ebay is pretty much junk . my 833 is a 64-65 main case/guts with a 69 tail housing and output shaft . most of those selling on ebay just don't understand
how much it costs in just parts to properly rebuild one . a really good core is probably in the 400$ range and thats if all the gears aren't rotted or destroyed ----------------------------------------------later

Location: Hayward, Calif | They have been stored indoors,, out of the weather. They should still be in good running condition. I'l pull the side covers off and check em out when i get a chance. Been a long time since I've been into something this small. I used to do a lot of Roadranger and Mack triple countershaft trans when I worked for the Mack Truck dealership. Glad those days are over.
