RDP3430 Posted 2014-10-20 9:16 PM (#459802) Subject: 1956 Desoto Paint code 398 trim code 559 Member Posts: 20 What exact color is 398 : it looks like a metallic Green on the car......did not see a 398 paint code listed on the Desoto color chart. The 398 number came off of body tag under the hood.
