As some of you know, I had some hood springs made for the 57/58's. I've sold some here and some on Ebay. I'm down to less than 10 cars' worth of springs and don't plan to have any more made. So...just a last call.....if you want some or think you might need some, now is your chance. $45 / pair includes shipping within the US.

Location: ZH, Switzerland | 55/56 car owners are like stepchilds relating to parts compared to 57 and later FLK owners - and not to speek about Chebby and Furd boys. I'm looking around for a pair of good hood springs for my 56 NY as well. Until now with absolutely no sucess. The hood springs for a 57 and later De Soto /Chrysler do not fit to the 55/56 Chrysler / De Soto / Dodge. Happy Motoring! Dieter Pictures: by courtesy of Sven

If I thought 25 people wanted 55-56 springs I'd look into getting some made.
Plus someone would need to supply me with an old one to copy. Whoever did that would get a free set.
