Location: London, England | Hi all,
has anyone refurbished their '57/'58 Plymouth turn signal indicators in the dash? The green plastic goes brittle and mine have just fallen apart. The cardboard tube is OK though. Same with the Amps/Oil light - the red plastic loses color and falls to bits!

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | I found some info: a hobby or music store would have the plastic film for covering DJ stage lights.
just putting out other alternatives to finding something that will work.

They are called blinker greens, and the bingo chips will work. I bought some used blinker greens off e-bay a couple of years ago that came off of a mid 70's T/A that you do not have to glue on to dash. They have the greens glued on the end of a cardboard cylinder that just slides into place over the bulb. I think they were about 15 bucks.

Location: UK | Good call Marc. Stage lighting gel filters. Loads on ebay in different colours and come in largish sheets. They are quite thin and can be cut with scissors easily. |
