Can someone verify for me that the chrome fin topper added to some '55 Dodges is the same as the '56 Dodge part? I have a '56 Coronet Suburban. It has the left chrome fin and is missing the RIGHT chrome fin. Are they ALL the same '55-56 Dodge AND same left and right? Thanks!

Wayne, right and left are different and also 55 and 56 are different by the part numbers.
I've searched the Parts Book and found the 1955 Chrome Fin is named Top Joint Moulding part# 1599 680/1 for right and left and fit for all except 55 Suburbans.
The 1956 D63 Suburban equivalent is part# 1655 384/5.

Took me some time to figure out what should be the description of the 55 Chrome Fin, I found it in the section describing the different kind of mouldings.

With part number provided by Thord, I was able to locate a NOS chrome fin "Top Joint Moulding" for my '56 Dodge Suburban two door wagon and it is on its way. Thanks again, Thord!!!
