I would park the truck wherever I was every nite it was on to make sure I did not miss it!!

Wish they would make a sequel!
Got 'em all on VCR tapes!! Plus backup's on DVD"s
They sure screwed up the C though in the process. |

And big Mike just died here, what, last fall or so?
I heard, I believe from the owner (Past & Present are one in the same) that Farino was afraid of that big honkin" C
Last I heard, the C is alive and well still owned by the same guy that sold it to the studio for the series. |

Location: bishop, ca | The history of the (re-painted inside and outside) 300C used in the show is fascinating, and a cautionary tale, too
about 'giving away' your possession (but not ownership-responsibilty) of a car that is used in a TV or movie production.
In this show's instance, the producers never transferred the car's legal ownership into their names, so that
the car's (original) owner had remained legally liable for any property damage of bodily injury that could have occurred, or
might have been alleged to have occurred....any time before the car's owner eventually accepted re-possession
of the (now, messed-up) car, after production was terminated on the show.
AFAIK, the car's owner did not 'restore' the car's OEM appearance, and it has been displayed at various WPC Club events.

Location: ocala, fl | It was a Micheal Mann show called Crime Story. I believe its debut was 85' or 86'. I used to watch it because of the cars that were in the show. |
