Hello everyone, I have a 61dart and having an issue finding out what brand ps pump was used on the car, I looked the pump over and haven't come across any markings to id it. can anyone shed some light on this for me? Is it a federal pump, trw, etc? haven't come across any good photos of the back of the pumps to figure it out. Thank you in advance for any info -Joe

When I was looking for pumps I tracked down these photos of Thompson versu Federal pumps. Note that they look like they might interchange but the shaft diameter looks like it might be different and the Thompsons ahve two mounting holes on the back, the Federal only one.  So a Thompson might fit in brakets that originally had the Federal but you'd need to cut off part of the bracket ear to go the other way, assuming it otherwise fit.
