He says he would trade. Wonder if he would be tempted by a 1958 Dodge Regent!?

Location: Sweden | I looked at the Fireflite last year and its a good solid car but unfortunatly it has an older amatuer resto on it.
Dan the owner bought it partly disasambled and after he put it together it has parked in the carport for a couple of years
At that time he asked 70k and i offered him 50k and thats what i think is a fair value on this car.
Apperently he thinks it is a bar of gold but it needs a lot of work to make it nice. |

Location: The Mile High City | seven-button radio, power windows - it has some neat options just by the pictures. I am surprised it does not have bumper guards. It looks like there is a tissue dispenser under the glove box?
For a car that has been dismantled at one time, the interior looks great.

scrapping it for metal value.

Wow, that would be a SUPER NICE car to own, and to bring back to its rightful glory.
BUT, I must be getting grumpy these days, as I am becoming rather weary of folks trying to sell their cars to "serious buyers only", when they themselves cannot bother being serious SELLERS...especially when they insist on demanding top dollar prices.
Drag that thing out of that dusty garage and into the sunshine where it belongs, clean it from stem to stern, and take some decent photos of the entire car that might actually be useful to a "serious buyer".
I know it's only spit and polish that adds no real value, but when one is apparently asking 1/8th of a million dollars for a car, I don't think it's too much to ask.
Just a peeve of mine. See?...I'm just getting grumpy...
Having written all of that, I'd still love to own it.

that it even survives is amazing.

Location: Pacific Northwest | Listing keeps popping up every now and then. Has anyone kept tabs on this or tried to talk some sense into the seller? 1960ny, what sort of reply did you get when you offered 50,000? did he just scoff at it or tell you to "get off my property!"?
