Shaky wobbly steering wheel and column 1959 Belvedere

texaschristine Posted 2015-10-19 10:33 PM (#492701) Subject: Shaky wobbly steering wheel and column 1959 Belvedere New User Posts: 2 Steering column seems to be loose and shakes inside the outer column housing, you can hold it tight up against the inside of the outer housing but that's not really a fix. Is there a bearing or something that centers it within the outer housing or is this a bigger problem? There is an upper column bearing part #1488462. I think that # covers all 1959 Chrysler products? They have NOS ones at Collectors Auto Parts for $60.
